Which files to upload and why.

Best: WAV or FLAC, 24-bit / 44.1 or 48 kHz, peaks below −1 dBTP.
Your browser converts the file to a 256 kbps MP3 for streaming on RetLabel; nothing has to be installed.
For distribution the original lossless file is kept privately as the master. Never upload an MP3 converted back to WAV: the stores reject it.
Maximum size: 300 MB per master, 80 MB per streaming file. Uploads continue in small parts, so a slow connection is fine.
